"And I Will Do A New Thing..."
It has been a interesting three (3) years in this spiritual journey. We have moved to Miami, returned to DC and eventually returned to Miami again. During the course of the journey, there were questions about the assignment, was I listening God? Today, some months later, peace has taken over my life. We have a place where we are valued, gifts, calling and all. The family is well and we are preparing, watching and waiting as God unveils His will in our lives. The family is well, the harvest, of course, is plentiful and God has us in the trenches. The Precious women at the "Village" in Miami, the people who we work with in Overtown, Miami and the trust we have in God that more will be revealed. God is faithful.
As Pastor/Teacher, it has been my honor to serve God and to experience His presence in a new and exciting way. I sit anticipating each day seeking God for direction through it. Truly our latter has come greater than our beginnings. New Beginnings Ministries - Ujima is uniquely designed to go into the hedges and highways and bring the love of God to those who would not otherwise hear or seek it out. The solidifying of the ministry will come as we begin to train others to carry the mantle of this ministry on to this generation. We patiently await the guidance of God, as we work daily in the fields.
Daily my prayers are for those who have passed through our doors, our lives, our thoughts and for those who are yet called to labor with us in this branch of Zion, as we continue to pray we know that we are only beginning to take the steps of many many many New Beginnings.
A charge to keep I have - a God to glorify.
